A very sad day

We struck a bridge. I am the trainer, I assume full responsibility for this terrible mistake; however, before noon they have suspended the student for 30 days and told me I am on trainer suspension for 120 days. The truly sad part is they have let a perfectly good student go on suspension (he states he will not be returning) rather than simply reassign him to a different truck and let me take the brunt of actions. I contacted the usual taxi driver for STVV; however, he could not guarantee that he would get him to DFW in time for his flight. Taxi fare to DFW from here is approximately $66. I paid it. No one is more disappointed in this situation than me. He could have been... how much of life is tied up in could have beens. Also discovered that my driver manager no longer works at STVV. I do not know why, just sad no good byes or anything else. I sent him a note via facebook, he was not on my list of friends but I could send him a note.
Best wishes Michael on wherever the Lord leads you next, your life has had many interesting twists I feel honored to have met you. Jay may our paths meet again.
